Terms of Service
Last updated 11 October 2026
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and AIProxy (“we”), the operator of Brainy at aiproxy.gr. Contact: hello@aiproxy.gr.
By creating an account or using Brainy you accept them. If you use Brainy for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it. You must be at least 18.
2. The service and the beta
Brainy lets you upload documents, search them, and ask questions answered from them with citations.
Brainy is currently in beta and free of charge. Features, limits and availability can change, and the service may have bugs or downtime. Please keep your own copy of important files; Brainy is not a backup. Fair-use limits apply and are shown in your workspace. If paid plans arrive, we will tell you in advance and you will never be charged without choosing a plan.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at security@aiproxy.gr if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Workspace owners and admins control membership and roles in their workspace.
4. Your content
You keep all rights in the documents and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You give us a limited licence to host, copy, parse, index and process it solely to provide Brainy to you, including sending it to the AI providers in our Privacy Policy. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.
You promise you have the right to upload it, and that doing so does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law. Do not upload special-category personal data (for example health data) unless you have a lawful basis and have told us first.
Where Your Content includes personal data, you are the controller and we are your processor. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle it, and on request we will sign a data processing agreement.
5. AI answers
Answers are generated by AI from your documents. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, even with citations. Check the sources before relying on an answer, especially for legal, medical, financial or other important decisions. Brainy does not give professional advice. You are responsible for how you use the output.
6. Acceptable use
Do not:
- upload unlawful content, malware, or content that infringes others' rights;
- try to access other workspaces, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass limits and security;
- scrape, resell or use Brainy to build a competing product, or automate heavy use beyond the fair-use limits;
- use the service to generate content that is illegal, deceptive or harmful, or to process data of children.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or the law. Where we can, we will warn you first and give a reason. To report illegal content or abuse, email hello@aiproxy.gr; this is our single point of contact for authorities and users under the EU Digital Services Act.
7. Our rights and feedback
Brainy, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a right to use the service, not to own it. If you send feedback, we may use it freely without obligation to you.
8. Availability, changes and ending
- You can stop using Brainy and delete your account at any time in the app. Deleted data is erased after a 15-day grace period, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may change or discontinue features. For material changes to these terms we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app, and you may close your account if you disagree.
- We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches, or where the law requires, and will tell you why where we are able to.
9. Warranties and liability
During the beta, Brainy is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises about uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data you did not back up, and our total liability for the free service is limited to €100. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, or anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Consumers: if you use Brainy as a consumer in the EU, you keep all mandatory rights under your national consumer law, and nothing here reduces them.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Greek law and applicable EU law. Courts in Athens, Greece have jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in the courts of their country of residence and keep the protection of that country's mandatory consumer law. Please contact us first at hello@aiproxy.gr so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
11. General
If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may transfer these terms as part of a business transfer, with notice to you. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Brainy.
